This session will explore simple and practical ways to reduce the risk of falls as we move into the spring months.
The session will cover:
- Mobility and activity changes
- Environmental and seasonal risk factors
- Medication considerations
- Hydration and nutrition
- Post‑winter deconditioning
- Everyday proactive falls prevention
This session is open to all members of the public, carers, and anyone interested in learning more about keeping themselves or others safe.
Thursday 15 May - Mental Health focus
Two sessions: 8.30-9.30am and 4-5pm
We have partnered up with Solent Mind to deliver a mental health focussed session - 5 ways to wellbeing
The session focuses on the five ways to wellbeing. You’ll find out about connect, be active, take notice, giving, and keep learning and how you can bring them into your life to improve your wellbeing. You’ll leave the session with ideas and techniques to enhance resilience and mental wellbeing.
